OPERATIONS MANAGER
Sun River Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for the position of Operations Manager at the headquarters in Fairfield MT. The position is responsible for overseeing the continuity of service to the members through technical and non-technical construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution lines. This position is also responsible for organizing and managing employees in the operations department and plant maintenance & operations activities. This is a salaried position with health, vision & dental insurance, full retirement, and 401(k), benefit package. Successful applicant must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test prior to employment and are subject to a one-year probationary period of employment.
Qualification requirements include the applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, must be a journeyman level lineman or must have a 4-year electrical engineering degree. A minimum of ten (10) years of electric utility experience is preferred, as well as managerial experience is beneficial.
